Dede (45), warga Kampung Servis Jatiluhur mengaku beberapa bulan kebelakang dirinya sering mendapat laporan dari warga kalau Japung petani ikan sering jebol. Dugaan kuat Dede pun mengarah pada si Aligator yang dijumpai beberapa waktu lalu yang sempat nampak di permukaan air waduk.

"Sekitar lima bulan lalu memang ada kabar Japung penangkaran Aligator fish jebol, si induk yang diduga sebesar perahu pun lepas. Pascalepasnya induk ikan aneh itu, kemudian nelayan dan penjaring ikan sering menangkap Aligator fish yang beratnya hampir 15 kilogram," ujar Dede saat dihubungi melalui telepon selulernya, Jumat (21/9/2012) malam.

Diakui Dede, di waduk Jatiluhur ada ribuan petak kolam Japung. Salah satunya diduga adalah penangkaran Aligator fish. Selain itu ada juga penangkaran ikan arwana.

Dikatakan dia, induk Aligator fish yang beratnya berkisar pada 2,5 kuintal ternyata kini sudah beranak pinak. Akibatnya, sejumlah petani japung dan warga pun ketakutan dengan hal itu. Warga pun menjadi takut turun ke air. Dari informasi, Dede mengetahui bahwa pemilik japung Aligator fish adalah orang Jakarta yang beternak ikan di Jatiluhur.

"Warga pada takut masuk air, karena pernah lihat sebesar perahu di permukaan. Ditambah, sering ada laporan jaring milik mereka jebol," ujarnya.

Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya, Ikan Aligator yang ditemukan nelayan membuat geger warga Kampung/Desa Galumpit Kecamatan Tegalwaru, Purwakarta. Ikan berkepala buaya itu tersangkut jaring nelayan. Jumlahnya tiga ekor, dengan berat masing-masing 5 kg, 8 kg, dan 15 kg.

Ikan aligator itu kali pertama ditemukan Dede (36), nelayan asal Desa Sodong Kecamatan Maniis. Saat itu, seharian Dede menjaring ikan di Sungai Galumpit. Sungai tersebut, merupakan muara dari Waduk Jatiluhur. Tangkapanya pun lumayan banyak.
